At 10:57 a.m. on May 29, local time in Cambodia, the flight inspection work of the Siem Reap Angkor International Airport project, built by JHA, officially kicked off with the landing of an airborne King 350 aircraft.

The flight inspection lasted for 8 days, with the aircraft flying for approximately 19.5 hours. It took off and landed 5 times in the field. The inspection work included 2 sets of Class I BLIND-landing equipment, 2 sets of PAPI lights, 2 sets of Class I precision approach lights, runway lighting system, flight procedures, and more. By June 5, the flight inspection was successfully completed. All the inspection subjects passed on the first attempt, and the performance indicators met the requirements of the technical specifications. This marked that the new airport lighting equipment was ready for operation.

The construction of the Siem Reap Angkor Airport navigation-assisted lighting project lasted for 15 months. During the construction process, the project department allocated resources efficiently, optimized the construction plan, and adjusted the construction process. They overcame various challenges, including the difficulties of cross-border transportation of materials and equipment, and the challenging construction environment, and the disruptions caused by the covid-19. As a result, they successfully completed the project on time. In the next step, the Project Department will continue to uphold JHA's work style of being "serious, meticulous and adhering to higher standards", We will accelerate the completion of follow-up tasks, including project completion acceptance, in order to prepare for the scheduled opening of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport.
