　　On May 9, the 35th anniversary of Far East Holding Group and the 2019 Person of the Year Award Ceremony was held. Nearly 10,000 Far Eastern family members joined the event through a combination of offline participation and online live broadcast.

　　At the ceremony, Far East Holding Co workers, followed the video clips to look back on the past, listened to the leaders' speeches to look forward to the future, witnessed the highlight of the awards and felt the power of role models. At the same time, through a video learning course, they were able to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation and appreciate Chinese culture.

Speech by Jiang Xipei

　　"Only through innovation can an organisation be dynamic; only through change can an organisation be valuable!"

　　In his speech, Jiang Xipei, Founder, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee of Far East Holdings Group, firstly celebrated the 35th anniversary of Far Eastern Holdings and the 10th anniversary of Far East University. He said that the growth of Far Eastern to date could not be achieved without all the leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life who trusted, cared for and supported Far Eastern, and more importantly, without all the Far East staff who struggled and strived to move forward.

　　Looking back, he said that after more than 30 years of hard work, we have become clearer about our mission of "creating value and serving society", our corporate vision of "building and sharing a safe, green and beautiful life", and our "customer-oriented, quality and performance-oriented" mission. Our core values are: "Customer-oriented, quality and performance-oriented, dreaming and passionate, honest and pragmatic, innovation and excellence, self-criticism, and spirit and win-win". We are committed to providing the best products and services in return for the trust of our customers, the care of society, and the support of our partners and government.

　　Looking to the future, he said that 35 years later, in the journey to a second business, Far Easterners have to be more confident. Because only with self-confidence and self-improvement, only with continuous learning and change, can we have a better career and happier families. We want to become a company that solves substantial problems for society, a more valuable company, and a company that our customers, partners and society need.

　　At the same time, he emphasised that a country without education and a country without culture has no roots and no future. In the same way, companies need to learn and learn again! Learning from the sages, learning from others and learning from our party is a need of history, a need of business, and a need of our family and the world.

　　In addition, he said that we should adhere to three combinations and four orientations, i.e. adhere to the combination of domestic market and international market, product operation and capital operation, hard and soft strength; adhere to customer orientation, system orientation, problem orientation and result orientation. At the same time, we have to implement five comprehensive aspects, namely, comprehensive intelligence, comprehensive digitalisation, comprehensive internationalisation, comprehensive benchmarking and comprehensive surpassing.

Mr. Jiang Chengzhi delivered a keynote speech on "Remembering the Past and Embracing the Future

　　Jiang Chengzhi, Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group and Chairman of Far Eastern Smart Energy Company Limited (abbreviated as: Smart Energy Stock Code: 600869), delivered a keynote speech on "Remembering the Past and Embracing the Future".

　　He reviewed Far Eastern Smart Energy's high-quality development focusing on its main business in 2019 from the aspects of smart cable network products and services, smart airport/energy system services, smart car power and energy storage systems, industrial internet and corporate social responsibility respectively. He said that 2019 was a key year for Far Eastern to return to its main business as a whole, focus its resources, and develop and grow its position in the existing main business. Both overall revenue, cash flow, gross profit margin and net profit of the segmented business sectors hit new highs, and all segments under Smart Energy achieved fruitful results.

　　He said that Far Eastern will always be committed to the concept of "customer focus". At the same time, he said that in the 35 years of Far Eastern's history, it was the "Far Eastern people" who had forged the "Far Eastern soul", and that Far Eastern culture was the cornerstone that had supported Far Eastern from scratch and from small to large.

　　Looking at the overall situation, Jiang Chengzhi pointed out that in the future, opportunities and challenges will coexist. 　　At the award ceremony, Jiang Huajun, Director, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intelligent Energy, read out the Decision on Commending Advanced Collective and Advanced Individuals in 2019. Afterwards, more than 40 awards were announced one by one and representatives of outstanding employees from various lines took to the stage to receive the commendation.

　　Among them were those who were rooted in the production line for process improvement and safety production, those who ran around in the market front for channel expansion and customer service, and those who were buried in R&D experiments for innovation and quality improvement .......
