On November 27, 2022, as the aircraft of AEROTHAI landed smoothly on the runway, the flight inspection of the Pokhara International Airport project in Nepal, constructed by JHA, has been successfully completed.

The Nepal Pokhara International Airport project is a national pride project of Nepal and key project of the "Belt and Road" cooperation between China and Nepal. On November 21, the seven-day flight inspection work was launched. This work, led by the Civil Aviation Administration of Nepal and responsible by AEROTHAI, has a total of 6 subjects of verification, which was conducted flight for 21 hours with 20 take-offs and landings and completed the inspection of localizers, glide slope indicator, precision approach path indicators (PAPI lights), Calibration of a series of navigation, communication equipment, and incoming and outgoing flight procedures such as VHF omni-directional range.

In this project, JHA’s work scope includes airfield ground lighting, air traffic control, and Electric . All the staff of the project department worked hard to overcome the adverse effects of the new crown epidemic and various difficulties such as tight time on site, heavy tasks, and insufficient construction force. , with the goal of ensuring the smooth progress of the school flight, strengthen communication and coordination, strictly implement the construction process, take the initiative to take responsibility, and successfully complete various construction scope according to the plan.

The completion of this flight inspection in Pokhara International Airport has significance in a lot of aspects. Firstly, it’s getting ready  for the smooth operation of the airport in the future. Secondly, this can improve air cargo capacity of Pokhara and promoting the rapid development of local tourism. In the next step, JHA will uphold its original intention, actively participate in the national "Belt and Road" programme, and contribute JHA's wisdom and strength to the civil aviation construction.
